Bad News :(

Published November 12, 2012 by cloudsofvioletshades

Well guys, it’s Jo and Andy here (Andy’s typing…. duh) and we have some sickening news…..

It would appear as though Angel is ill and has not been able to post, or even hang out with us  due to it. I would hope that anyone with a compassionate heart would stop for a brief moment to wish her well, and maybe, just maybe, she’ll get better.

Together, we can help Angel feel like a healthy angel again.

Andy’s Arrived!

Published November 12, 2012 by cloudsofvioletshades

Hi guys! I just want to try to say a few simple things to try and make your Mondays Magnificent!

If you start to get sleepy, think of Llamas. I’m not sure why, but they make people laugh and are often in cartoons.

If someone starts yelling at you, I give you permission to yell back.

Try something you haven’t before. That way, when some one starts demanding you try it, you can honestly say you don’t like it and snap back at them.

I’m thinking of doing something that actually envolves the few people who stop by and view this blog… a contest or something that u can comment on…. Leave a comment if you have any decent ideas! Only the bad ones won’t be considered!

With Love or Hate,

Andy

First Story

Published November 7, 2012 by cloudsofvioletshades

Hey y’all, it’s Jo. Enjoy this moment, it’ll probably the one and only time I’ll post on a Wednesday. Since I have an uncommon amount of free time I thought I might post Part One of my first story. Enjoy~

“Alright.” said Jane as she finished tightening my corset. “Go put your dress on.”

“I can hardly breathe!” I squeaked.

“That’s the point.” said Maurice. “This is the Hampton’s Cotillion, it’s the social event of the season and you’ve missed it the past four years ever since you’ve gone to that silly boarding school in England. Thank God it burned down and classes were cancelled for six months so they could rebuild and you came back home. Now get your dress on!”

“Fine…” I said, grumbling. I stepped behind the screen and slid my dress on. I adjusted it around my shoulders and stepped out.

“Oh my goodness Cristie you look amazing!’ said Jane.

“I’ve never seen you look so good! exclaimed Maurice.

“That makes me feel better Maurice, thanks.” I said sarcastically.

“Come on girls the carriage is here!” our Mother called.

“Coming Mother!” we replied. We grabbed our purses and headed downstairs. Our dresses swished as we walked down the hall. As we approached the door Mother said;

“Why Cristie , don’t you look marvelous tonight!’

“Thank you Mother.” I said.

“A big improvement from your usual drab clothing.” commented my Aunt Mary.

“Thank you Auntie…” I said questioningly. We walked to the carriage along the path that the butler had swept clean of snow. When we got to the we got the carriage a handsome footman took my hand and helped me into the carriage . As I stepped in I looked down and caught the eye of the footman. He winked at me as he closed the door. I sat down, slightly confused, on the luxurious velvet seat of the carriage. Several seconds later I heard a the snap of a whip and felt the carriage start moving with a lurch. We were off.

Part Two will be posted as soon as possible. Please tell me what you think!

All About Andy

Published November 5, 2012 by cloudsofvioletshades

Hi! I’m Andromeda, Andy for short. Basically, i was named after a constellation that has quite a story. See, a sea monster threatened a small kingdom, and as a peace offering, the king chained his only daughter, Andromeda, to a rock that faced the water so the sea monster could eat her. But before the monster had his offering, a hero came and slayed it and saved Andromeda. Of course, it ends like all other stories and the two get married and so forth. Yet somehow, Andromeda’s constellation will forever be her chained to the rock, her being remembered as a perfect image of a damsel in distress.

But that’s not me.

I’m a girl who’s hit rock bottom, fallen so far, and is still here being happy.

I’m spunky, funny, boring, loud, shy, unpredictably predictable, a contradiction to humanity, an honest liar, and someday I’m going to open a little shop, just not sure what kind.

My favorite things in life are mysteries, unpredictable outcomes, risks, and chances. I like to put time and interest into things you have no way of knowing the outcome until it’s done, like this blog. I love the feeling of anxiety as you wait for the coin to land or the ticket to be drawn. That feeling where you know it won’t happen but you know it will, where you feel so heavy, but so light that if you don’t hold onto something you’ll float away. That butterfly-ish feeling.

Yeah, I’m strange.

My favorite season is fall, my favorite type of weather is when it storms and thunder shakes the house, My favorite flavor is watermelon, and my favorite color changes every day. I rely on music and photos to capture life and reflect how I feel. I also enjoy quotes to portray my mood and alliteration. I find it amusing when you cast out a large word or phrase and no one understands and like to be known as a confusing person.

I hate the word “drawer” and when people say “have a good one” I’m always tempted to ask: “A good one what?” I hate the sound of cupcake pans banging together and hate making children cry. My least favorite subject in school is human body and i will never ever be a dentist or doctor.

So basically, that’s me in a nut shell. Have fun on your journeys, travels, and days spent on the couch.

Update

Published November 5, 2012 by cloudsofvioletshades

Hey, Jo here. Just wanted to tell you guys about a story I’m working on.

It’s about girl, Cristie, who has just come back from boarding school for a visit and her sisters, Jane and Maurice, have decided to take her to a big dance that she has missed the last four years because she has been abroad. Cristie isn’t much of a party person but when someone takes interest in her things change.

It’s written in two parts and I will be posting the first part as soon as I have time.

Thanks for reading!

~Jo
